Our Story
· My name is Connie; I love sharks and all things sweet! It all started with a little girl falling in love with sharks but being terrified of being in the water. Add being the pickiest eater out there. I’ve spent most of my life discovering everything there was about sharks and at the same time wondering why onions even existed and why just a plain tortilla tasted so good to me. As I got older I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. Marine biologist was out of the question; cue the fear of open water. Then I tried culinary arts and fell in love, especially with being a pastry chef. I also figured out why I was so picky with food. I’m a super taster! I can taste every little detail in food! It started out with making a few cakes for my niece and nephew, and then suddenly I have a cult following with co-workers, family and friends. With my love of all things pastry and everything shark I decided…why not start my own bakery. So I did! Enter Jawsome Delights. I enjoy creating an assortment of baked goods. I don’t want to pat myself on the back but I make a mean cheesecake, both with sugar and sugar free with my own proprietary blend of alternative sweeteners. Ask anyone that has tasted one of my sugar-free cheesecakes, and they will say that you can’t even tell it is sugar-free.
